In science we are learning about the human body. We went outside into the playground and drew round our bodies and labelled as many different bones as we could think of!
We didn't manage to name all 206 bones in the body, but we did manage to name quite a few!
WOW! We had a fantastic trip to The World of Country Life in Exmouth as part of our topic ‘Home and Away’. We wanted to look at the country life and animals at ‘home’ in England before we study people’s lives and animals in Australia. There was so much to do and see! Each class followed the timetable drawn up by teachers and we chose different things to visit within each 'zone'. The big favourites included the giant combine harvester, the death slide and getting up close and personal with some of the animals. We even spotted wallabies and colourful budgies that were from Australia. We all enjoyed the day and lots of us (adults included) were a little sleepy on the coach trip home. A big tha
We had a fantastic day at Otters and Butterflies. It was made even better by the excellent behaviour of all of the children and the wonderful parents who accompanied us on our trip.
