RE is an entitlement for all pupils. At Landscore we aim to provide an inclusive RE syllabus.
The principal aim of RE at Landscore School is to explore what young people believe and what difference this makes to how they live, so that pupils can gain the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to handle questions raised by religion and belief, reflecting on their own ideas and ways of living.
Through the teaching of the RE units in the syllabus, children will have the opportunity to make sense of a range of religious and non- religious beliefs, understand the impact and significance of religious and non-religious beliefs and make connections between religious and non-religious beliefs.
