Year 1 English 18.6.20
Today, we would like you to go searching around the house / out in the garden / out on your walk for a plant that you (maybe with the help of your family) recognise and can name.
We would like you to gather information about the plant which you will then use tomorrow. Today is for making notes. You do not need to write in full sentences - save that for tomorrow!
Take a photo of the plant if you can (you will need it tomorrow). Look carefully at the plant and write down as many different things about it as you can such as; the colour and shape of the leaves or petals, the size of it (you could do some measuring), what the flower smells like, the name of the plant. Try to keep to the facts / information NOT opinion.
