WOW! We had a fantastic trip to The World of Country Life in Exmouth as part of our topic ‘Home and Away’. We wanted to look at the country life and animals at ‘home’ in England before we study people’s lives and animals in Australia. There was so much to do and see! Each class followed the timetable drawn up by teachers and we chose different things to visit within each 'zone'. The big favourites included the giant combine harvester, the death slide and getting up close and personal with some of the animals. We even spotted wallabies and colourful budgies that were from Australia. We all enjoyed the day and lots of us (adults included) were a little sleepy on the coach trip home.
A big thank you to all the parents that helped on the day and also thank you for everyone's efforts and hardwork with the cake sale leading up to it. We are so glad we went.
(choosing just a few photos was tricky!)
