As before, we encourage you to make this learning as practical as you can please.
It is hugely powerful for the children to see and handle 'real' money.
Today we are going to work on recognising coins and counting coins, focussing on 10p. So first find as many 10p coins as you can!

Look at these slides– recap the name and value of each coin. Briefly describe each coin.
First collect a set of 10ps (or draw)
eg 5 10ps – Discuss which coin is equal to this set of 10p coins?

Repeat with a set of 10 10ps.
