Year 3 and 4 Maths - Wednesday 6th May
We are carrying on with telling the time - make sure you practise using an analogue clock (like the one on the classroom wall!) as well as digital clocks (the ones on your computer and tablet!) Try telling the time as much as you can - and remember, the minute hand is the long hand on an analogue clock and the hour hand is the small one!
*Challenge* - What would the time be on each clock if it were 73 minutes earlier? - What would the time be in Australia if the time in England was the time shown on the clocks?
If you want an online resource to help you: https://www.topmarks.co.uk/time/teaching-clock If you fancy a challenge then have a look at the resources available on White Rose - they are covering some different topics but you can still watch the videos and have a go at the activities! https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-3/ https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-4/
