On Thursday, KS2 enjoyed a magnifique French café experience!
In their French lessons, the children have been learning the French vocabulary for different foods and how to order these in French. We have looked at saying please and thank you and how to order a variety of different dishes.
In the hall, we set up a The Landscore French Café with French music playing and a variety of French food to try, including: crossiants, pain au chocolat, pain, biscuits, jus d'orange and brioche. Only French could be spoken to order the food and the children really showed off their impressive accents and French knowledge!
The children took it in turns to be waiter and take their friends order (in French!) and then go inside the café to bring them their food.
It was a tres bien morning and everyone had a fantastique time!
