We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic HLTA to start working with us as soon as possible. We need someone who has a good knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum and also understands how children learn. You need to be creative, well organised and able to use your initiative. If you are patient, committed to high standards and prepared to work hard, then you could be the person to join our team.
You will be working across the school in a range of contexts: general classroom support, small group interventions and also teaching to cover classes for one day a week. Having the HLTA qualification (or equivalent), an understanding of the National Curriculum and proven experience of working in a school environment are all essential.
We are a fully inclusive school and very child centred. Being able to motivate pupils, develop positive relationships and promote self esteem are all essential qualities. You should be able to manage your own time and also demonstrate the confidence to make organisational decisions.
We are an equal opportunity school and are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and individuals. A DBS check is a requirement for this post.
Visits to the school are welcome, please contact Mrs Chris Spear on 01363 772018 to arrange an appointment.
