This week we had a brilliant morning focussed on maths and it was amazing to see it so well attended! Parents were invited in to join their child in their maths lesson for some calculation inspired learning as well as finding out information about the maths curriculum and importance of manipulatives in their child's mathematical learning.
The big focus was on using different manipulatives (resources) to aid children's understanding such as Dienes, place value counters, counting resources, fraction walls, Numicon etc. The parents and children all had a great morning and below are some photos to show this.
