The children have had a brilliant week this week making their moving dinosaurs.
First of all we practised using scissors safely and with good control. They were super stars when exploring ways to make it move. They practised creating pivots with a split pin and making technical sliders!
They then all completed a design and carefully cut out their final dinosaur pieces. Using half a paper plate, they assembled their dinosaur. We were so impressed with how well they worked independently and all had a go.
The final touch was added with a selection of paint and sponges.
The children will be able to bring these home shortly, but we would like to keep them as a surprise to share with you at our Open Afternoon which you are all invited to next Friday (15th at 2:30pm).
