Team 2 had a fantastic visit to West Town Farm in Ide as part of our Farming Theme!
We looked around the farm and were introduced the cows and sheep. We watched the swallows glide in and out of their nest and we saw lots of different plants and grass growing in the orchards and pasture fields.
In the barn, we were able to explore different objects that related to arable farming and we saw how different plants can be grown and transformed into food.
We had a tour of the farm and we got to see first hand the different areas and jobs that are done here. It was a great experience and we can't wait to learn more about arable farming in our Science lessons!
