Team 2 trip to Dartmoor!

Team 2 have had a fabulous week this week, with all three classes visiting Haytor! The children managed to walk up to Haytor rocks (discussing the contour lines as we walked and how steep it was!) and were treated to some fabulous views from the top (where we could even see the sea!). We then walked down to Haytor Quarry where we had some lunch and spotted some newts in the water! We practised some sketching skills here and soaked up the natural beauty of the landscape. We saw some Dartmoor ponies and lots of wild flowers such as gorse and thistles.

We had a great time and it was a fabulous trip!
