The children in Year 3 and 4 have been learning all about performance poetry this week. The children explored what made an effective performance (such as projecting their voices, facing the audience and using expression in their voice).
The children spent the week rehearsing their part of the poem and coming up with actions to help them remember the words. They then performed this poem to the whole school, as well as parents and carers, at our adapted Christmas Carol concert in the playground.
All the children worked incredibly hard and we are so proud of them!
