Please read with your child daily at home. They are able to choose any book (at the lower end of their AR range) and then check it on the AR website (arbookfind.co.uk). Children are able to quiz at home and they are able to have their book with them to support them as the quiz tests their understanding of the text, not their memory. Your child should be achieving 85% accuracy in their quizzes (scoring 8, 9 or 10 out of 10), if they are not, then it is better for them to choose a book at the lower end of their range.
To take a quiz, you'll need to log into Accelerated Reader. The username is the first letter of your first name and your full last name.
