Hello,
This week we have been measuring. The children have learnt to measure in centimetres (cm) using a ruler and in metres (m) using a metre stick.
This weeks challenge is to find 4 unusual objects from around the house or garden (or maybe out on a walk) that are less than a metre and more than a metre.
The children can record this on paper or take photos to show me.
We had a practise in class today and there were very good a predicting what objects were more than and less than. They got a bit caught out with things that were close to a metre though!
